Our fully licensed and qualified Pilots can fly SUSA (Small Unmanned Surveillance Aircraft’s) up-to 20kg in weight, with full PfCO ‘Permission for Commercial Operation’ from the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) or under the new A2 CofC ‘Open Category’ permission. We also now have certification from the EASA for commercial drone work within the EU.
The use of UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) or drones as they are commonly referred to is fast becoming one of the most popular services for commercials, film and broadcast in the UK, offering stunning footage at cost effective and affordable prices. Unique and creative shots can be achieved, which would previously have been out of reach of many due to budgets constraints, safety and logistics.
Our pilots can legally fly at a maximum height of 400ft whilst maintaining full line of sight (VLOS) with the aircraft. With the correct safety measures, pre-flight risk assessments and time to process paperwork we can generally fly in most locations.
We can provide a range of different drones, from small lightweight drones such as the DJI Air 2s or DJI Mavic Pro which can be launched and operated by a single operator, to larger dual operator systems such as the DJI Inspire 2 all capable of delivering amazing 4K (UHD) footage. We can also provide experienced ground crew and marshals (were needed) to ensure each flight is undertaken in a safe and legal way.
Many people can be overwhelmed by the paperwork and documentation required for aerial filming, but our experienced team can deal with everything required to safely and legally get a drone in the air, from local authority permissions to specialist flight clearance from ATC (Air Traffic Control)
